Country Woods H.O.A Frequently Asked Questions
Question: If I own a two-family property do I have to pay two assessments?
Answer: No. Pursuant to the By-Laws each property pays one assessment. If you have a two-family property and received two bills, please contact the board with the information and we will correct the official roll.
Question: What does the assessment get used for?
Answer: The assessment pays for landscaping, mowing, insurance, repairs, improvements, electric, water and various other expenses that may arise.
Question: What should I do if I believe there is a mistake in the amount I owe?
Answer: Please contact the Board with the property information and what you believe is incorrect and we will review our records and respond.
Question: How can I pay the assessment?
Answer: You can pay online at our website or by check.
Question: What happens with the money that is collected but not spent in a given year?
Answer: Any money that is collected is used for expenses. To the extent that money remains at the end of the year, that money will be used for future years. Ultimately, the amounts saved will be put towards projects to maintain the appearance of the entrances and hopefully, one day to beautify the east entrance on Timber Ridge Drive.
Question: How can I volunteer to help?
Answer: To volunteer please send your contact information to the Board and what you are volunteering to do, and we will contact you. We are all volunteers, so we welcome the help.
